Fresh Fruit Salsa with Honey & Poppy Seeds
Salsa or Pico de Gallo is traditionally a savory mixture of tomatoes, peppers, onion and cilantro, we used the same method and made a fresh fruit version! This can be made with any of your favorite fruits, the addition of honey and poppy seeds added a bit of sweetness and some extra crunch. Fruit salsa can be used as a dip for chips or as a topping for pancakes, waffles, grilled or roasted meats and desserts!

Asian Chicken Lettuce Wraps
Looking for a not-so-sneaky way to get your kiddos to willingly eat all of their veggies? Have them create their very own lettuce wraps! This is a fun, healthy, hands-on dinner idea that whole family will enjoy. Not a fan of lettuce? Whole wheat tortillas can be used instead.

Beer Brine for Grilled Chicken & Pork
Brining meat before cooking helps increase the moisture and in turn, creates a more flavorful, tender and juicy product after cooking. Typically, the longer a meat is brined, the better - we recommend a minimum of 4 hours and if you plan enough in advance, a meat can be brined for up to 48 hours.

Camp food isn’t what you remember! Camp food has changed since you were a camper. Camp directors plan menus with chefs, nutritionists, and dieticians to plan out healthy and kid-friendly meals that campers enjoy. Many camps will also cater to special dietary requirements that campers have such as being lactose intolerant or a vegetarian as well as food allergies and celiac disease.
